Becoming Usefully Unique

If nothing is original, and our efforts are actually an accumulation of many borrowed ideas, we should at least acknowledge what those ideas are, and who they are coming from.

Below is a list of "efforts" accompanied by the architect I am most inspired by for those particular ideas. Try filling out the list, and adding terms to further define your unique set of interests.

The goal of this exercise is to develop a more deliberate filter for observing the plethora of work we look at everyday. Don't hesitate to ask yourself questions, it's the only way to get to know yourself better.

The style of Neil Denari
The approach of Bjarke Ingles
The discipline of Le Corbusier
The juxtaposition of Rem Koolhass
The quality of Frank Lloyd Wright
The pursuit of Daniel Libeskind
The craft of Mies van der Rhoe
The movement of Zaha Hadid
The excitement of Tom Wiscombe
The creativity of Buckminster Fuller
The casualness of Paul Preissner
The strategy of Ben van Berkel
